Licensing options

Microsoft offers two licensing options for Dynamics GP: perpetual and subscription. With perpetual licensing, users pay a large upfront, one-time payment to own the software and then pay low ongoing maintenance costs. While subscription licensing, GP users pay a lower ongoing cost per month to use the software. It is up to each business to choose the cost structure that works best for them: a large upfront payment or smaller monthly or quarterly payments.
