Dynamics GP licensing & pricing
Microsoft Dynamics GP pricing is flexible so businesses can choose the pricing model that best fits their need. Discover the different licensing models, foundational packs, and user licenses that all affect the cost of ownership for Dynamics GP.

Licensing options
Microsoft offers two licensing options for Dynamics GP: perpetual and subscription. With perpetual licensing, users pay a large upfront, one-time payment to own the software and then pay low ongoing maintenance costs. While subscription licensing, GP users pay a lower ongoing cost per month to use the software. It is up to each business to choose the cost structure that works best for them: a large upfront payment or smaller monthly or quarterly payments.
What’s included in Dynamics GP
Dynamics GP has two main foundational packs that you can choose to license: Starter Pack and Extended Pack. The Extended Pack offers advanced features and includes all the functionality in the Starter Pack plus additional modules. For perpetual licensing, an organization must purchase the Starter Pack for $5,000 or the Extended Pack for $10,000. For subscription licensing, you pay on an ongoing basis for the type of user needed based on each pack.
Types of users
Dynamics GP pricing is based on a per-user basis, whether you are licensing perpetually or subscription-based. Full Users get full access to Dynamics GP, Limited Users have access to limited functionality, and Self-Serve Users have access for the purpose of entering and retrieving data personalized to that user.

Perpetual: $3,000
Subscription: $70 per month
Limited User
