Business Central Price Increase Date Moved to November 1, 2025

Sep 17, 2025

Microsoft extends timeline for Dynamics 365 Business Central price changes, giving businesses more time to prepare and plan renewals.

Microsoft has announced a change to the effective date for its upcoming Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central price increase. Originally scheduled to take effect on October 1, 2025, the new pricing will now go live on November 1, 2025.

This adjustment provides partners and customers with additional time to plan, budget, and communicate the pricing updates in their local currencies. It marks the first price change for Business Central in over five years, reflecting the platform’s growing capabilities and expanded value for small and medium-sized businesses worldwide.

What this means for your business

If your organization is considering purchasing or renewing Business Central licenses, you can still take advantage of the current pricing until October 31, 2025. Locking in licenses before the new rates go into effect could help reduce costs, especially for companies planning to expand their user base or add new functionality.

Microsoft has emphasized its commitment to delivering an end-to-end business management platform for SMBs and believes the new pricing will support continued innovation, feature growth, and improved service for customers.
