Updated pricing and increased storage benefits
For the first time in over five years, Microsoft is updating the pricing for Dynamics 365 Business Central. This price increase reflects the value added by the hundreds of innovative features introduced across its finance, analytics, supply chain, manufacturing, and other capabilities. Business Central has continually evolved to help small and medium-sized businesses streamline their operations on a single, powerful platform.
To coincide with the price changes, Microsoft is also enhancing storage entitlements for each user license, providing even greater value to Business Central customers. These updated prices will apply to all new subscriptions and to existing subscriptions upon their first renewal on or after October 1, 2025. Customers will still have the opportunity to purchase Business Central at its current pricing before this date.
Here are the updated product prices and storage allocations:

Rationale behind the increase
Microsoft attributes the price adjustment to the substantial value added to Business Central over the past five years. Notable enhancements include:
- AI-powered features: Introduction of Copilot for real-time financial analysis and account reconciliation
- Enhanced analytics: Deeper and more adaptable financial and manufacturing analytics capabilities
- Improved integration: Better interoperability with Microsoft Power Platform
- Sustainability module: A dedicated module to support sustainability tracking and reporting
- Master data management: Enhanced tools for managing core business data
- Expanded localization: Stronger and deeper localizations to support global operations
Action steps for current and prospective users
To mitigate the impact of the upcoming price increase, organizations are encouraged to consider the following actions:
- Early renewal: Renew or extend existing Business Central subscriptions before September 30, 2025, to lock in current pricing for up to three years
- Evaluate licensing needs: Assess current and future licensing requirements to determine the most cost-effective plan
- Leverage new features: Explore and implement the latest features to maximize the return on investment in Business Central
